Commemorate a special event, remember your loved ones, celebrate a birthday, whatever the occasion, plant a tree! We will honor the recipient of your generosity by sending a special holiday acknowledgement of your donation.
You may contact the Tree Foundation of Kern by phone at 661-325-6650 or by e-mail at treeinfo@urbanforest.org to arrange your donation and acknowledgment. In addition to the donors name and address, we need to know the recipients name, address and the occasion or special event that you wish to honor.
To plant a tree in a specific public place in Kern County, we ask that you call our office at 661-325-6650 for arrangements. We must seek approval of the government entity that oversees the park, school, or other public area that you wish to have your tree planted. The cost for a specific planting is $300. (This does not include the Commemorative Grove.) This includes the tree, stakes, ties and planting. (It does not include a plaque. Plaques are only available in the Commemorative Grove.) When making a donation for $50.00 or more, we will create a beautiful card commemorating your gift to the Tree Foundation honoring the recipient.
